A native of Iowa, Christopher came to Centenary UMC from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in February 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Drake University, and a Master of Arts in Music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. His musical interests range from classical and opera to big band jazz, Contemporary Christian Music to film scores. Christopher and Karen are active in the community. His song, "In the Cross," has won several awards, including First Place (Christian/Inspirational) in the 2015 Dallas Songwriters Association Songwriting Contest. Christopher has two children, four grandchildren, and a Golden Retreiver.
