Congregational Care

Nurture and care for church members and associates is primary to spiritual growth. Centenary United Methodist Church seeks to provide for and equip all persons for service in a loving and compassionate way.
 
PRAYER MINISTRY:
  • Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast: Adults gather for a breakfast meal and a time of prayer and devotion at 7:15 a.m. each Tuesday morning (all are welcome to attend.)
  • Prayer Chain: Persons sign up to become members of prayer teams by phone or email, responding in prayer to emerging concerns and/or needs within the church, community area.
          Prayer Coordinator: Nancy Lazenby
 
FOOD MINISTRY: Volunteers prepare foods for special needs including, bereaved families, shut-in or sick families, and for new-baby families, as well as weekly food preparation and deliveries to homebound members.

VISITATION MINISTRY: Persons are encouraged to adopt a special friend (especially those who are housebound, in nursing homes, and in assisted living) through visitation, cards, phone calls etc.

FLOWER DELIVERY: Deliver the flowers (from the Morning Worship Service) to members, family and friends

HEALTH AND WELLNESS: A ministry area focusing on health issues and the well-being of church family
